Paper relating to the Savoy Conference of 1661. The Bishops’ replies to ‘The Exceptions against the Book of Common Prayer’ (Rel. ii. 316-333) together with their concessions. Not in Baxter’s hand but in two other hands.
‘As they would have no Saints dayes observed by the Church, so no Apocryphal Chapter read in the Church, but upon such a reason as would exclude all Sermons as well as Apocrypha viz.’
